Packaging

Suspend 27.1 g of the medium in one liter of distilled or deionized water. Mix well and heat with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute. Distribute into appropriate containers. Sterilize at 121 ’C for 15 minutes in an autoclave. Prior to pouring, add 10 ml aqueous ammonia chloride solution (Ph. Eur., 14.3 g / 10 ml water, sterile filtered). Let cool to 50 ’C inoculate if required and pour into petri dishes.
